Well since it is my P-day today, I figured that I would write one last email of this week's happenings!</div>

Towards the beginning of the week we were finally able to see Efren again after his vacation to Colorado! He is super solid and we were able to teach him. He had been asking us to play basketball with him, so a few days later we were able to play with him at the park. And it was so hot, that I though my shoes were going to melt. He beat us pretty good the first two games, and then the last game I pulled off a miracle and won! Later that night we went to teach him a lesson at his apartment and when he sat down he said "are y'all ready for Sunday". It kind of took us by surprise but he said "well y'all won a game, so I'm going to come and check out the church"!! That was awesome to hear, because we know he will have a great experience if he comes, he just needed to make the decision. We had a great lesson with him, and he is looking really solid. We are going to see him tonight as well. </div>
</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
We have been seeing Billy frequently as well which has been great. So here in this town about everybody works at this chicken plant. So we asked Efren if he knew Billy (because they both work there). Efren said he did and he as well said that in the last few weeks, that Billy has seemed so much happier as he has working. That was awesome to hear, and it's amazing the happiness the gospel brings, as well as how much other people notice. While teaching Maria, she mentioned something about Billy and said that now at work he is a lot happier and he goes around saying hi to everyone which he normally didn't do! We committed Billy to invite one person to church by the end of the week, and he said he'll do it! </div>
</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
I can't remember if I mentioned Kenny last week, but we found him while looking for a new member move in. It was the lost members old friend, and this week we were able to see him for or his return appointment. He as super interested in what we had to offer, and had many great questions during the lesson. We are hoping to see him again soon, as he lives far out. We are excited for him and it's always amazing how the lord will lead us to those who are prepared. </div>
</div>

<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Another cool thing that happened this week was we were able to see David y Maria several times and last night they invited us over for dinner. During dinner David was saying how they love when missionaries come back and that his house is mine anytime. Then there was a knock on the door and it was a returned missionary "Elder" Butler. He just happened to be in Danville and came to visit at the exact time we were there. That was pretty cool to see them, and David committed coming to church this week as well! </div>
</div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">

<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
We were able to do quite a bit of service this week which was great, and overall it's been a really successful week. I can't believe it's my last one on the mission, and I'm sad to leave so many great people. I wouldn't trade my experiences on my mission for anything in the world. I can't wait to use what the lord has taught me in the "real world" but I'm looking forward to the next challenge. I'm looking forward to see y'all in just a few short days. Love y'all and thank you so much for all the amazing support that y'all have given me over the past two years! </div>

Another great week here in the Arkansas Little Rock mission. We had a lot of good things going on this week, and it was a great success overall. </div>

<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We had a great Fourth of July on P-day as we were able to go to a flea market, and have a meal at a members home. They had family from all over there, and something I love about the church is you can always make connections. I was able to relate with several people there that had mutual friends! We were able to see a few fireworks and it was a great day celebrating the freedom of this great country! The next day we were able to see a guy named Ricky who I had met on exchanges the week before. When we saw him he was so grateful that we gave him the Book of Mormon and had read from it. We were able to review over the restoration and set a baptismal date with him! We have seen him several times and he is really excited! He was going to come to church, and had even shaved. But when we went to get him he had slept really poor and was pretty sick. We are excited for him next week!! </div>

During the middle of the week we had Zone meeting down in Conway. It was a great zone meeting and I was able to give my final testimony as well as another missionary who went home on Saturday. It was mixed emotions, as it still hasn't really hit that I will be going home in a week. After zone meeting a senior couple was able to drive us down to Little Rock for our exchanges! </div>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> I got to go with Elder Diaz, and it was awesome being with him again and to be able to go where it all began! We had a great day and taught a really awesome family who is preparing to be baptized at the end of this week. We were able to have dinner at Yader's new home with his family! It was a great time with them and we had a really cool discussion as he asked us about some reflections as we are coming to the close of our missions. He told us how recently how it was becoming difficult in his calling as 2nd counselor in the branch. He was having doubts, and before church he opened the Liahona (ensign) and read a paragraph that was a direct answer to his prayer. He said after conducting the meeting and taking the sacrament he felt so much better, and realized that the work in God's Kingdom is hard, but it's totally worth it. I love being able to see them, and seeing each time how much more they have progressed in the Gospel! </span></div>

That night I was able to see Hna Foster and her kids at the church! As well I got to see my son Elder Ceron! To close the night we were able to see Ana and she made me some of my favorite mole poblano. It was unreal and awesome to see her and that she is doing well. The next morning the office Elders picked us up y we had to go to Hot Springs which is a really cool city and then headed back to our area. </div>

The other great highlight of the week was the Confirmation of Billy!!! On Sunday he was able to be confirmed and he even teared up after the prayer was said. He has really been enjoying church, and each day continuing to progress. We were able to see him a bunch of times this week, and it'll be sad to leave him for sure. I also gave a talk in church that went really well! Well that'll about do it for this week, next week should be another great one! Love y'all and have a wonderful week!</div>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> Earlier on in the week were were able to go on exchanges with the ZL's and Elder Thomas was able to come up here with me in Danville. It was a </span><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">great time with him, he's one of my good friends and we were able to get a lot of work done. We got to see Efren and had a great lesson with him! He said "you're right, I just need to ask and decide what I'm going to do". He's a really awesome guy and we can't wait until he is able to come to church y progress more. Later on in the day he interview Billy for his baptism and Billy passed and was all ready to go! At first he seemed a little nervous for the interview, but after he was really excited. And throughout the week we were able to see Billy every single day this week which was awesome. One of those days we show up and his roomate Jama said that Billy had cut off his hand that day at work. We were pretty scared for him and after a few minutes Billy came back for the store and his hand was all wrapped up. Luckily his whole hand wasn't cut off, but a couple of his fingers were pretty shredded. He was trying to get a chicken out of the neck skinner, and his glove got caught and started pulling his hand in. But Billy was in really high spirits though, and glad that it didn't get hurt worse. </span><br />

On Sunday was the day of the baptism and the ward mission leader and I went to pick him up. He was all ready to go with all his stuff. We had church and I was able to give my last testimony during fast Sunday on my mission. After church everyone went to the overflow where we had the baptism. Right before the baptism I went with Billy and we wrapped his hand with a clear plastic bag, a rubber band, and some tape so that his wrap wouldn't get wet. Brother Torgerson was able to Baptize him and it all went well! Billy was really excited, and his roommate y wife were able to attend as well. It has been amazing to me how much the spirit has touched Billy and helped him progress in the gospel. Our Heavenly Father truly does prepare people to enter into his kingdom, and will do anything he can to prepare them for making those big steps. His progression has been a miracle and I know that his son (who was a member) was guiding him along from up in the Spirit world. It was the best gift I could've asked for on my Birthday! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The rest of my Birthday we were able to do some teaching and then Elder Claridge and I went to the church to do some grilling. We cooked up some Steak, Fish, and Brawtwurst that was super good. Even if we failed for a while trying to start up the grill! </div>

As for the rest of the week, we continued to teach a lot. We were able to see Patsy several times, and she is progressing little by little. We are hoping that the spirit will touch her one of these lesson, and lead her to take action. We taught her the entire plan of salvation this week and she believed it to be true, but she is content on the level of knowledge that she has now. She's super nice, and is always will to listen when we come over. I was able to teach an Hispanic and I couldn't really tell if she was actually very interested. But then I explained the Book of Mormon to her and after she looked up and said that she wanted to read the whole thing! It was a lesson to me to always be teaching even if they don't seemed too thrilled, you never know what's going to get their attention. Overall an awesome week and we are looking forward to Billy's confirmation the next Sunday!</div>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;"> Once again another great week here in the Pueblito of Danville and time is flying by!! The workiI going great up here with Elder Claridge and we are keeping busy. </span><br />

Every single day this week we were able to go and see Billy an teach him for a few minutes. We have focused on keeping the lessons short and simple allowing him to understand better. It ha been working great as he prepares for his baptism next week as long as he is ready! He had made huge improvement, and at the end of each lesson he has started giving great prayers, where at first he would never want to pray. Something he has continually prayed about is to have his roommate and his wife (Jama & Rita) come to church with him. They are a couple from Nigeria and are super nice. One of the lessons Rita was listening in and at the end of the lesson she said that she wanted to come to church with us this week! So on Sunday her and Billy were ready for church, and she really enjoyed it, She was even taking notes and everything! She told us that in her country she wanted to join the church at one point, but then moved away. We are looking to start teaching her more and as well try and get her husband more involved! We will be praying hard this week that Billy will be able to overcome some word of wisdom problems and enter into the waters of baptism!<br />
<br />
We have also been able to see Efren a few time this week which has been great. One night we had an appointment scheduled with us but then he texted us saying that he needed to cancel, but that he wanted us to come over the next night at the same time. We went to his house the next night and he had brought his girlfriend Marlet over!! That was awesome that we did that and we were able to teach her the Restoration, it went really well, and Efren was really excited about getting her involved. He said he was trying to convince her to go to church with him, and he told us that she is not 100%....yet. Efren is rock solid and continues to love everything that we teach. We talked about the importance of going to church. and how we need to have a trial of our faith before we receive an answer. He loved when we shared him Ether 12:6 and he even went to his room to grab a highlighter so he could mark it. He should e coming to church next week and we are planning to see him several times this week. </div>

As well we were able to see our investigator Carolyn who lives out in a little town called Plainview. When we saw her she was so excited about us coming by because it had a been a minute. And her friend was telling us how much she had been talking about us. She had just broken her foot pretty badly but was in high spirits. Last time we were there we had given her a blessing because she wasn't feeling well after a seizure. She said that blessing helped her so much and made her feel calm. It always amazes me to see how priesthood blessings comes to pass each and every time. I'm very grateful to have to knowledge of the priesthood on the earth today, how much better would this world be if every house had a worthy priesthood holder in it. </div>

I hope that y'all had a wonderful week last week! Since Wednesday we were able to get a lot done in Danville and we had to stay in the pueblito all week because we were on Bike week. Two days were crazy hot last week, we were soaking wet as we were riding our bikes haha. But luckily it has cooled down and we are going hiking today for the 3rd week straight! </div>

<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We have continued teaching Efren this week and were able to have several appointments with him. One day we walked in and when we sat down he was excited because he had read the chapter we had left him. Whenever we teach him he always asks "is there anything else you want to share" and he is just soaking the gospel in. We were able to set a baptismal date with him and he is going to be praying about it as well. We asked him to pray about the Book of Mormon and he told us that he already knew it was true! So he is pretty awesome and he should be coming to church this upcoming week. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We also have been teaching Billy pretty consistently and have started to teach way more simple so that he could understand a lot better. It has been helping a lot and we left him with a big print of the Book of Mormon and he was excited about that. The next appointment he had read and the next day he was able to come to church for the 2nd week straight! He loved it and it was awesome he was able to come for Father's Day especially because some of the members knew his son that was a member there before he passed. So Billy is looking great and we are working through a few word of wisdom problems and we are praying for him to overcome those. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> All is well in Danville and I was able to teach a lot in Spanish last week, especially with being in town all week. But that's about all for to this last week, and sorry for the shorter email since it's only been 4 days. Love y'all and have a wonderful week!! </span></div>

Bless them if they have to go upstairs to do their laundry that they won't fall! Feels like it's been forever since I have written y'all! This last week was a good one and we were able to to get a lot done. Back in Searcy this last Saturday Brayden, Payton, and Hayden were all able to be baptized!! I was so happy to hear that they were able to enter into that covenant and I heard that the program went super well, and the whole Ward was involved. I got to talk to their mom (Cori) right after the baptism and she was really excited for them, she jokingly told me "this is all your fault" ha ha! I told her well that's a good thing! She said she really enjoyed the service and as well that her husband and some of their other family friends were able to attend. Before I left Searcy I had them write in my signature book and they wrote some really cool things. Their testimonies are really strong, and they have embraced the gospel so well. <table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> Back in </span>Danville<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> we were able to see a bunch of different people, and also it has been extremely hot. As well we have actually been going to this tiny town called "Ola" pretty frequently. We have been teaching this lady named Francis and she is pretty awesome! We taught her on Wednesday and she loved the restoration, and really wanted to come out to church. We were able to set a baptismal date with her, and then we were able to teach her the plan of salvation the next day which she loved. We are going to be seeing her again this week! My favorite quote of the week came from her when she prayed at the end of the lesson she said "Bless them if they have to go upstairs to do their laundry that they won't fall" ha ha! We had told her that our laundry machine is upstairs. She's a very sweet older lady! </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
As well in Ola we are teaching a guy named Joe. We have been teaching him for a while, and we always teach him outside on his porch. One lesson we taught the Plan of Salvation and you could tell that he really opened up. He has problems with eyes so he said he won't be able to come to church until he gets his surgery. So the next lesson we gt back. He asks if we want to go into this house and the first thing he said is that he wants to come to church this week. On Sunday he was able to make it and he really enjoyed, It's amazing that time and time again the spirit can always change people and lead them to better things. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> One day while riding our Bikes in Danville (we always ride our bikes when we are in town because it's so tiny). We went to see a guy named Efren. Elder Claridge had met him a few weeks back. At first he was on his phone and said that he was busy working on his car. Then we asked him when we could share our message with him and he stopped and said "well I guess right now would be good". We taught him the Restoration and explained the Book of Mormon. When we gave him a Book of Mormon he was so excited about it and said he was going to read it for sure. We then go back yesterday, and he had read everything we had left him to read and really enjoyed it! He mentioned how much he was already learning. We taught him the Plan of Salvation, and now we are going back to see him on Thursday. </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We are also teaching an older fellow named Billy! He has a baptism date, and we have consistently been seeing him a few times a week. We had a good lesson on the Gospel of Jesus Christ last week, and we were pretty direct inviting him to church and letting him know that his ride would be there in the morning. He said he would be ready to go in the morning. He was ready, and he was able to make it to church and really enjoyed it. He was fellowshipped well. Turns out his son who has now passed away used to be a member of the church and some of the member there knew him. That was an awesome connection, the Lord works in so many ways to help people feel loved and comforted. </div>

For this week it was quite the adventure with leaving Searcy and heading to Danville. My last three days in Searcy were awesome though. We continued seeing Monica every day and preparing her for her baptism at the end of the week. She was loving everything and was so ready to be Baptized! I left not Thursday and she was baptized on Saturday, and confirmed the next Sunday, I heard it went really well!!<br />

As well in my last couple days there I got to say goodbye to everyone, there were so many amazing people that I had already met in my short time there. Some of our coolest investigators (the Carpenter's fed us several times. As well as Dee our Recent convert made us some dang good fried chicken before I left. We also got to go over and say goodbye to the Mauldin's. At the end of our visit with them I played the song "I am a Child of God" and we all sang it. It was super cool and one of their friends even joined in with them. I have been so impressed with those kids and all that they have learned.. It was sad to have to leave them but they went to Monica's Baptism, as well as church last week. They will be getting baptized this upcoming weekend!! </div>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> After leaving Searcy I headed up to Conway to spend the day with the Zone leaders because we couldn't get a ride up to Danville until the next day. It was a great day with them and we were able to teach some cool people. They had BOM class and at the end of it an investigator and a less active walked in thinking it started at that time. So while everyone played Volleyball Elder Crane and I were a let to teach her the restoration and she loved it!! She accepted a baptismal date and is really excited about learning more. It was a great lesson to me about teaching at all times, you never know when unexpected teaching opportunities will come up. </span></div>

<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
If you couldn't tell by the description I am out in the Boonies!! It is really pretty up here though, and it has been a great first week! I have been in a trio for the last couple days with Elder 'Iongi and Elder Claridge. My new companion is Elder Avery Claridge from Tuscon, Arizona and he is awesome!! We already get along super well, and we are going to get a lot of work done this transfer. We will be serving in a "Zebra" companionship. </div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
They were excited that I'm serving here because I have been able to talk with a bunch of Hispanics that they haven't been able to. On church some Spanish investigators were able to come, and I was able to translate which I love doing. We went out to a town called "Ola" last week and we tried this lady named Velta who the Elders had found the day before. She had talked to missionaries in the past so we started teaching her the Restoration and she loved it!! She said living prophets made so much sense and she believed everything that we taught to be true. If all goes well she will be baptized on my Birthday! That's the update that I have for this week!</div>

Transfers calls have come and gone and it looks like I'll be staying in Searcy for the long haul!! I'm pretty excited about that, we are going to have a great couple months here!! I was going to be happy with whatever option for my last transfer, and I would say staying was probably the best one! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">

<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
This week was another solid week! It has been super busy and a few things fell through, but overall it was great!! We have been seeing Monica really consistently this week, and she is rock solid. We saw her Wednesday morning and then left her a chapter to read in the Book of Mormon in preparation for the Book of Mormon class that night. She read it and made it out to the class. After she texts us how much she loved it and how this time around with the missionaries she just feels so much different, and knows that it is true. We were actually able to push her baptismal date up to this upcoming weekend. She made it out to church on Sunday and we were able to see her later on that day. She is excited for her baptism, and she has made so many amazing changes!! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
Last Monday we were able to see Allison and the girls at the park. We taught a great lesson with her and we were going to be seeing her every day this week in preparation for her baptism. Some things came up and then she ended up getting sick. We felt we should drop by on Saturday night to see how she was doing. She had faced some opposition but she fought through it super well and asked us questions openly! They're such a solid family and we are pumped about their progression and the great changes they are making. Even though she was sick she still had her two daughters go to church, and a member was able to take them to church! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
As well we have been consistently seeing the Maudlin's and they are doing awesome! We were able to set baptismal goals and they should be being baptized in a couple weeks! They are excited for that and Cori was able to drop off the boys for the last couple hours of church so they could make it to their classes for the first time. They loved primary and had a good time! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
Also I made the return to Jonesboro again this week on exchanges!! We taught a lot of cool people and then as well I got to see Claudio and Takiya. Claudio is doing really well and just got a calling with the young men's, it will be great for him! Takiya is excited to prepare for a mission when she turns 19! I also got to see a lot of other members because there was a baptism on Saturday morning, it was sweet! Claudio y his wife took us out to lunch that afternoon! It's always the best going to Jonesboro! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
But all is well here in Searcy! Elder Plaira is a teaching a couple people from the Phillipines, so now I know how it feels when I'm on exchanges with English Elders and i'm teaching in Spanish! I love y'all and have a great Memorial Day!</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold; white-space: nowrap;">A change in plans...goodbye Seracy- </span><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Well all the transfer/release calls were all made last night and this morning. And I never received one. But then a few hours ago I opened up the mission email and it shows me getting transferred. So I'm going to serve in Danville, Arkansas with Elder Claridge for my last transfer. There are a bunch of Hispanics so that will be good for speaking Spanish as we will be a Zebra companionship, just a big shock for me. Should be good though. </span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Pretty incredible week here in Searcy!! Earlier on in the week we had our big Specialized training as a Zone up in Batesville. <span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">We instructed on our Power y Authority, and how to be effective when inviting people to church! </span>There was a lot of preparing that went into the meeting and it all went super well! . </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
After the meeting we went on a blitz in our Area. I went with Elder Hooker and we were able to teach a bunch of sweet people. We went to give a guy a card and he initially said "you'd be wasting your time". We were pretty persistent in at least just giving him the picture of Jesus and he accepted. We started some small talk and then starting talking about our beliefs. He ended up being really open about everything, and when we explained about Prophets a lot of things clicked for him. We explained him what the Book of Mormon was, and he said "why do people give y'all such a hard time?". He asked for a copy and for us to put a bunch of chapters for him to read. We saw him later in the week and he had read them, We discussed some things, and he asked for more chapters to read! It's amazing what the spirit will do when people will actually do their part and have a desire to learn. One of the Devils best tricks is convincing people to not even taste of the true gospel. As well Elder Plaira went to see an investigator who is the husband of a recent convert. The assistant had taught him before, and when they went to see him he had changed a lot. He wants to be baptized and now he has a date. We went to see him later on in the week. and he was very excited about his baptism and was asking for chapters to read and for us to come over several times a week, We are looking forward to that! </div>

Last week Bro Fitzgerald took us to help move a plastic pool for a guy and it was only going to take a few minutes. When we got there it was already done, but we asked the guy (Kevin) if we could come by and teach him. He said yes and that he had actually talked with missionaries a few years back. This week we went to see him and had an awesome lesson with him, He loved the Restoration and knew of all it to be true and accepted a baptismal invitation. Later on that night he came to Book of Mormon class. We were able to see him several more times this week, and he loves everything that we teach!! </div>

Do y'all remember the Perry family?? So earlier on in the week we went to see her and she told us that she wanted to wait to do lessons for a week and a half until her girls got out of school, but that she was still going to come to church. We were worried especially because she was so excited about her baptism on the 28th. Later on in the week she texted us and said how much she missed us, and the spirit that was brought into her home. She asked if we would be able to come over the next day and if she could still be baptized next week!! Our prayers were definitely answered with that one, and we had an awesome lesson with the Primary President with her and her daughter. We taught the word of wisdom and she started crying, because she had just bought a new coffee pot. It was a great sign of her dedication though, as she knew that she needed to start living this commandment. We are super excited for he,r and we are going to be seeing them almost every day this week! </div>

To put a cherry on top of all that happened this week was on Sunday!! In the morning had a meeting and then our investigators just kept showing up to church. Everyone that we expected to come to church made it out! That was the first time that had happened on my mission. and in total ten investigators were able to come!! All that came were the Mauldin's, Perry's, Kevin, Dylan, and Monica. They all loved church, and it was great to see the fruits of all of our hard work!! The Lord's work is progressing greatly here in Searcy and we are grateful that he trusts us as his instruments. We are pumped for next week as we have tons of appointments set up. Hope y'all have a great week, love y'all!!</div>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;"> Another awesome week for the great land of Arkansas!! </span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">So y'all remember the story I told last week of finding a family and blessing their home? We have seen them like 4 times this week and they are so legit! She fed us on our first visit with them, and we brought a member who had been one of their kids substitute teachers. We taught them after the dinner, and they want to be baptized in two weeks! They also came to Book of Mormon class, and after she asked me "how do people deny this book when it says the same things the bible says?". She told me how she was glad she came to the class. Her husband played basketball with us afterward as well. Then in our next appointment we taught her and her daughter the Plan of Salvation. When we got there she asked "what about all those people who didn't get baptized with the proper Priesthood Authority". We explained to her about baptisms of the dead and temples and she loved it! They came to church this last week, and they enjoyed the service. She came up to me after and told me how grateful she was that we knocked on her door and, how much she loves about learning! We are pretty excited for them and to see them several times this week! </span></div>

For exchanges this week I got to go up to Paragould with Elder Geddes!! So it was the Geddes duo and we had a great time. Every time we introduced ourselves everyone was so confused, and we were able to teach a lot of really good lessons. I also got to conduct my first Baptismal interview of my entire mission!! He was a Marshallese guy named Ken, and he was very ready to be baptized. He was a way nice guy, and the interview went well. He was baptized and confirmed this last Sunday, and elder Geddes said he kept saying "one more step" referring to the temple because his wife is already a member. </div>

They are doing really well and were super excited to see me. My "Sobrino" has grown a ton already. Claudio is doing great, and still loving the gospel! It was really nice to see them again. It felt like going home. We also got to drop by to see Takiya and she has decided that she wants to serve a mission!!! That is awesome because she has always kind of wanted to, but now it is in her plans. She also gave a talk this past Sunday in Jonesboro. </div>

This week we had a member move from Nevada, his name if Brother Fitzgerald and he was baptized 3 years ago. He has been helping us out a Lot ,and we are excited to have him here! This morning we got a call from him saying that he met a lady at the hospital and told her about blessings. It was her dad that was dying and she said that she would like for him to get a blessing. We met brother Fitzgerald at the hospital, and went to give the blessing. The whole family was there and they said he only had a day or so left to live. I gave the blessing and basically told him that he would pass in peace, and will learn more once he goes to the other side. It was a cool experience and the family was grateful. After we left I told Elder Plaira "we will probably never know what happens to that guy". A couple hours later Brother Fitzgerald calls and says someone wants to talk to us. A lady came on the phone and it was the lady who requested her dad got a blessing. She told us that a few minutes after we left he passed away peacefully. She said thank you so much and that's what he needed. It is amazing the power of the priesthood! It truly connects Heaven and earth and I'm grateful it's back on the earth today. </div>

It was awesome talking with y'all on Skype yesterday! <span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">After skyping we went to try some recent converts and less actives. We went to a recent converts apartment and they were not home. We saw there were some people walking around a few doors down and I we felt that we needed to knock that door. We knock the door and a lady opens up and was like hey y'all got to the same church as my neighbors right? Then she started asking us a bunch of questions about our basic beliefs, and she was happy and surprised how "normal" they were. We clarified to her what the BOM was and gave her another copy, because the Recent convert had giver her a copy. Then she asked about blessings on homes, and if we do things like that because they just moved in. We said yes and I offered to give a blessing on the home. Alyssa, Charles y the family all got together and we had a kneeling prayer as I blessed the home. It was a cool experience, and they even asked us if they could come to church and what time it was at! It's amazing what small promptings will lead you to. Later that night when we were driving back home we get a call from that recent convert, and he said when he pulled in his neighbors couldn't wait to talk to him. They told him we had came by and blessed their home, and how she and her daughter had felt the spirit really strong during the blessing on the home!! The Lords work continues to amaze me. </span></div>

As well on Friday night we got the zone together on a conference call, and we all knelt in prayer as we fasted to set 20 baptismal dates as a zone on our super Searcy Saturday! There was definitely power as the whole zone was united on their knees in prayer. We sure saw the fruits of the fast from the next day. In the morning we went to see a truck driver Richard, his name had popped into my head the night before while planning. I had never met him but talked to him on the phone and, he seemed really nice. We got to their house and they were out on the porch. We pretty much went straight into the restoration telling them how awesome it was. They were all paying attention and but they didn't have much time. We ended the lesson pretty quickly and boldly invited them to be baptized on June 11. Richard agreed to it at first, but wasn't too committed. Then Elder Plaira mentioned somethings about Authority and everything just clicked in his head, and he told us how he can't wait to learn more. <span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> He started testifying to his friend that she needed to be baptized by the proper authority and how much it would help her! It was an awesome experience, and as a zone overall we had an awesome day setting 18 baptismal dates and seeing miracles throughout the zone! </span></div>

<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We also set a date with a lady name Melanie later that day, and we taught the lesson outside. She had no chairs so we taught the lesson form the back of the truck. She came to church the next morning and seemed to like it especially with her occasion "amens" throughout some of the speakers talks haha. I'll sure miss the culture here in the house! Overall great week, and this week should be grand as well. Have a great week y'all!</div>

Una buena semana aquí en Searcy! This week we were really busy again with lot´s of teaching an exchanges! We started off the week well, by going to dinner with the Sherwood's. They live in a small town own named Beebe and live on the little Farm. After dinner he took us out to go Milk his goat. <span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> He then sprayed the goat milk directly into our mouths! It actually tasted a lot better than I thought it would, and then he taught me how to milk to the goat. It was way fun! </span></div>

This week was actually transfer week for the rest of the mission. So there was a lot of exchanges in our zone, but we still have a lot of good missionaries so we are excited about that! And to answer your questions form last week Elder Plaira is a zone leader and it's his first time being one. He just got transferred from his first area and has been out about 10 months! </div>

<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
One day we went out to see Dee and to our surprise her daughter Jeanene answered the door and then after went back to sit on the couch. Where she normally will leave right when we get there. Recently we have been able to talk to a little more like outside and she has been opening up. But we were able to teach her and really just explain what our purpose is as missionaries and remind her of her role as a daughter of God. She really enjoyed the lesson, and we were able to give her a Book of Mormon. When we were leaving I went to grab my Bible and then the BOM by instinct and she was like "hey that's my copy". She's pretty excited to read it! </div>

Remember how we went up to the fair in Heber Springs the other week? So we had gotten an address for a lady in Kensett which is a tiny town right next to Searcy. So we went and knocked the door and no one answered so we left a not. Then we got a referral for a lady named Tammy so we called her and it was her! She had called in to Mormon,org and told them she is dating a member and had met the missionaries before, and wants them to come over. We have an appointment with her this afternoon which should be great! The fruits are already showing front he 2 days at the fair. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPQBLA6AD6dD6xepaXn_PEmu6RNIPH1Rk2gNm0Rg_Okd8741NuPh8TdYlEoqHz_u4yjoufhAW5XhE_WCzEvvctavs492hn-1Z2IIawz7esnbumjC5RyEhh8G_dLSbxlPqzy5rgduQ_9emh/s1600/P4301508.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; font-size: 13.3333px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"></span></a><br />

We also went up to Batesville to do exchanges, I went with Elder Jennings but this time we went down to Searcy. It went well and it' always great to see him and his companion Elder Taleni. He is Samoan and a super great guy! T<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">hat is about all I can think of for this week! Y'all have a great week, love y'all lots!</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;"> Where to begin, so many things happened in this past week it's been awesome! Well to start off the week we had exchanges with the AP's. Luckily they both stayed in our area, so it was more effective. I went with Elder Cunningham and we were able to visit a lot of people. We went to see Amber who we have now taught serveral times. On the way to the lesson I knew we needed to set a baptism date so I pulled up the calendar and felt like we should ask her to be baptized May 21st. The lesson went super well and when I came time I asked her if she would be baptized on that date. She then stopped and dropped what was in her hand and looked at us. We weren't sure what was going on and then she said "On my Birthday???" She said that would be awesome, and she excited to prepare herself to be baptized that day. It's great how the smallest promptings of the spirit can make such big differences. </span><br />

<br />
For the rest of Tuesday Elder Pearson and I went and said goodbye to everyone that her knew here. It was sad to see him have to go, but he left such a good impression on so many people. After saying goodbye to Cori's kids she texted us saying she came home to a 9 year old balling and was so grateful for the impression that we have had on their family. They are going to love my new companion Elder Plaira as well. <br />

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> On Wednesday we headed to NLR fro Mission Leadership council and following that we did our transfers. As I said last week my new companion is Elder Plaira and he is from the Philippines!! He's super awesome and we already get a long really well. He was a pretty famous rockstar over in his country and has an incredible voice. He is super humble about it and won't really admit to it though. My first few days with him have been great! During the weekend we actually went up to a town called Heber Springs for a fair where we had a booth set up. It was all the Elders in the district and for two days we passed out tons of cards, pamphlets, and Book of Mormons. It was a cool experience and we got a lot of return appointments for the Elders up there as well. It is a super pretty town up there, and it's even got a lake and beach that we took some pictures by. </span></div>

Here in Searcy we have a recent convert named Judith and she is from the Philippines. She was super solid, but recently got offended and hasn't been able to express herself super well because of the language barrier. So we told her that my new companion was going to be from the Philippines and she was excited. When Elder Plaira got here we went over to see her. The language in the Philippines that everyone knows is Tagalog, and then everyone has their own personal dialects. He started talking to her in Tagolog and then came to find out that they speak the same dialect "ilonggo", and they were able to speak to each other in that. Judith lit up and was so excited about that and really opened up to him. Now we know her real concerns and are going to be able to help her better. It's another testimony to me of the inspiration that President Wakolo receives for the mission. And it looks like Judith will start coming back to church again!<br />
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="font-size: 13.3333px;">
As well we had a dinner appointment with a less active family who are way cool. We walk up the driveway and the son Devin said he had a friend inside and she may or may not be interested in the gospel and this was our chance to teach her. We were able to teach her the restoration and she really enjoyed it. Devin also bare his testimony which was the most powerful part of the whole lesson. It was strengthening for everybody there in that room, and even though they are not active, he knows how much the BOM has helped him. Now we are going to start teaching his friend, and they invited us over to dinner this next week as well. <br />

Sunday was great as well as we were able to visit several of the members and talk about the missionary work. Our bishopric member invited us to the baptism of his son in his backyard pool. His house is crazy nice, and it was a good opportunity to get to know him better. I met his wife and she is Hispanic, she said we could go to her mom's house and she will make us food from Salvador! Also that night our Stake President called us and asked if we could go on splits with us and his son! We were able to see several less actives and it was awesome to go teaching with the stake president. He is the only stake president I have gone out teaching with, and he has done it several times. The work is great here in Searcy and we are excited for this upcoming transfer! </div>

<b>Riding with Elder Pearson</b></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
Well this week has been quite the crazy and great week at the same time! As mentioned in the title it was my last full week serving with Elder Pearson ::(. He has been serving as zone leader for a long time, so he will be getting released and transferred to a new area. It has been so great serving with him. He has been one of my favorite companions! He's taught me a bunch and we've had a lot of great times, He'll be getting transferred this Wednesday! This next transfer I will be serving with Elder Plaira!! He is from the Philippines, and I've heard a lot of great things about him. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
At the beginning of the week we headed up to a town called Batesville to do an exchange before our big Zone Conference. I went with Elder Jennings and we had an awesome exchange. I got to teach several lessons in Spanish which is always the best! I met for the first time a Mexican that is from Tijuana! We we teaching all that day, and met a lot of great people. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
We then drove down to Jacksonville for our Zone Conference. This conference was also the time that they would be installing TIWI's on our car. They are little boxes attached to the windshield that yell at you when you are going too fast, braking too hard, and don't have your seatbelt buckled. We are actually one of the last missions in US y Canada to get them. They are kind of cool, and will reduce a lot of accidents and everything. Also the AP's took our Chevy Colorado that we had, but luckily we got a new Nissan Frontier which is pretty sweet as well! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyiryQTha2PwjcB1wLjOFDnoF0hpPbtSpA1NpAsvB-ifFTQDHs9YgbsIokN1aBXtsgvUPs0KabskyT69Hywox8ZbIFeKMuiXx35sR4M_gQW8g4gkPjh4nPurXlSPCjcrzdgvHIXb8rEImK/s1600/P4191443+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyiryQTha2PwjcB1wLjOFDnoF0hpPbtSpA1NpAsvB-ifFTQDHs9YgbsIokN1aBXtsgvUPs0KabskyT69Hywox8ZbIFeKMuiXx35sR4M_gQW8g4gkPjh4nPurXlSPCjcrzdgvHIXb8rEImK/s320/P4191443+%25281%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
In our area we were finally able to see the Mauldin's again after a little while without seeing them. They have been really busy but we're excited to see us again! We taught her y the two boys a great lesson on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They loved it and she even gave us a candle melter for our apartment. They are planning it out so her aunt or daughter can make it out to the baptism towards the beginning of May. What was awesome is they Cori and her Husband Jeremy made it to church this Sunday!!!! Unfortunately the kids were at their grandparent, but that was a huge step for Jeremy to come to church and afterwards she texted us saying that they loved it. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
As well our friend Joey was able to make it to sacrament meeting, and he had some good questions about it. It was cool because we saved a seat for the Mauldin's and him. Pearson was sitting in between them so there wasn't room for me on the bench. I just went back and sat by a guy I didn't really recognize. The whole back row ended up being a bunch of Harding students (Harding is basically BYU for Church of Christ) that were there to learn about the different religions. But he was asking questions and I got talking to him y his friend after. And she turned out to be majoring in Spanish, so I got to talk to Spanish with her and it was super cool! They were great people, and it was a cool little experience that I ended up being able to go back and sit by them. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We were able to teach y find a lot this week, and while finding we found this lady named Amber. She came out and we had a lesson right outside of her house. We started talking and she had a lot of questions, and we basically taught the restoration, and plan of salvation in the same lessons. She said a lot of what we taught went in line with her personal beliefs. Fast forward to Saturday and we are able to bring a member with us to teach her. We gave her a teachings from Ezra Taft Benson book because she wanted to learn more about what modern day prophets taught. Then we read the introduction with the BOM with her. While reading we got to the part that says "Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity..." She then immediately asked, "well what are yours?". So Elder Pearson and I were both able to bare strong testimonies of how the BOM has blessed our lives and she really enjoyed those. It was a powerful moment, and she said that our testimonies answered several questions that she had been having. We are going to visit her again this week, and it should be great! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
Well that's what I got for this week, there is going to be a ton of change this upcoming week. Love y'all lots and have a great week! </div>

<b>The Searcy Zone</b></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
This week has kind of been crazy with two meetings and everything else! Earlier on in the week I was on Exchanges with Elder Hawkes here in Searcy area, and we ended up seeing a bunch of people which was great. After that exchange we had our zone meeting. The Sister training leaders had it all set up so it was primary themed because, we are going to be reading the New Testament and focus on Christ like attributes for the next couple of months. Everyone in the Zone was seated in the little primary seats, and then for questions and other things we pulled Popsicles sticks out of a jar that the Sisters had made. The zone meeting overall went really well. It was the first Zone Meeting I had instructed at. It's always a great experience instructing, because things will pop into your head that your weren't planning on saying! Instructing with Elder Pearson always goes really well! We presented the March Madness trophy to Elder Ceron y Santiago (my grandson y son) as they beat us in the championship game in the Searcy March madness. </div>

After Zone meeting Elders Geddes and Elder Taleni spent a day with us in Searcy before the leadership meeting. They blitzed the area, and we drove out to Augusta to give a Book of Mormon to a lady. She loved it, but said she felt nervous because she hadn't talked to the Elders before haha! The next morning we all headed to NLR for the leadership training with President Wakolo! It was an awesome meeting, and I got to see a lot of good friends there. The Cahoon's who were an office couple at the beginning of my mission returned back to the office for another mission, so it was great to see them! </div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We were able to teach a good amount through that week, but all of our lessons that were set up with members all seemed to keep falling through. We were able to see the Lagoms. again after a super long time. They were so happy that we dropped by and said they felt bad, because they have been super busy and kept forgetting to respond. We were able to set up an appointment with the Husband Alex the next day. He is from Uruguay so he speaks Spanish. We taught him a great lesson in English, really getting to know his understanding of religion and the gospel. We helped him understand some questions he had about God, and I showed him a Mormon message at the end in Spanish which he loved. He told us that in that lesson we answered several questions that he had been having recently. That was a cool experience, and I think it is going to help him a lot being able to express himself in Spanish more now that I'll be there to teach him. They are an awesome family, and we are super pumped to keep seeing them, especially because they were a member referral. They also gave us two free boxes of Samoa girls scouts cookies!</div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We saw Cori and the family several times this week which was awesome. Unfortunately they were not able to make it to church. They are still doing great, and we have an appointment set up with them tonight. We are going to move their baptismal dates so one of her daughters who is an active member in Oklahoma can come and see the baptism! </div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We had fast Sunday this week, and had a really good fast y testimony meeting. There is a guy named Pedro in our ward who only speaks Spanish and can only stay for sacrament, because he works so much supporting his family in Mexico. But he went up to bare his testimony in Spanish, and one of the bishopric members started to translate for him and he was struggling. People started looking at me, and then I walked up to the stand and was able to translate Pedro's testimony. He gave an awesome testimony, sharing some very cool experiences. The spirit was strong, and it was great being able to have that opportunity, Definitely a highlight for my Sunday! And that'll about do it for the week! Oh also I got my first tick last night, it was pretty crazy pulling it out! And the weirdest part is earlier in the day was the first time someone showed me what a tick looked like.</div>

<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"> This week was a great one, especially ending it off with General conference! It's always the best being able to listen to a living prophet, apostles, and other leaders of Jesus Christ's church here on the earth today! There were several talks that covered exactly what we had been talking about with some of our investigators. These men are no doubt called of God, and if we follow their advice (God's advice) in these last days we will come out triumphant. It saddens me when people aren't able to accept there are living Prophets on the earth. How happy they would be if they would just follow them. They world would be in a better place. I loved how they talked about verse 7 in "How Firm a Foundation". We have always sung that as a mission, because it's President Wakolo's favorite song. </span></div>

Missionaries were recently called to that area, and in the last couple weeks they were able to start a group which is pretty cool! We had a great exchange, There was a hotel that had just burned down and we went to took a picture by it. A guy came over and asked if we were Mormons. After we said yes he said "get the ..... Off m y property" it was pretty funny! Also the third largest Bridal store in the world is located in Brinkley for some reason it's called "Low's". When we exchanged back we went to a Mexican restaurant and the waiter gave me two free extra enchiladas, I think he loved that a gringo was speaking Spanish! </span></div>

This week we have been consistently seeing Cori and her kids (Brayden, Hayden y Payton). That has been going super well, and we were able to teach them the Plan of Salvation and the kids retained it really well. They are loving the gospel, and it's been great teaching them. We as well watched the restoration video with them and after we left her husband came in y asked what the video was about. So they watched it again, which was pretty sweet! He has been listening from a distance, and I know he'll really enjoy the Gospel once he gets engaged. We have plans to see them many times this week, and we are excited about! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We also were able to see Joey y Auburn, and they fed us several times to this week. We had some really big Bible discussions with him this week, pretty much covering everyone. It really just all comes down to if the BOM is true or not. He is continuing reading it, and If he keeps doing that with sincerity he will be able to receive the divine witness. We had pizza one night with them, and they had this raspberry chipotle Tabasco sauce that they didn't like. Elder Pearson and I tried it on our pizza and both really liked it. They gave us the bottle, and they said on the back it said it was good on ice cream which sounded really weird. We ended up getting ice cream at our apartment and we put the Tabasco sauce on it and it was unreal! </div>

We had a Mission Leadership Council in North Little Rock. It was great going back and seeing all my good friends! All is going great here in Searcy we are excited for this upcoming week as we have a Zone Meeting which should be good! I love y'all and have a great week!</div>

Happy post Easter! I hope that you had a great day! Our Easter here was awesome! We were able to eat withthe Stake President and his family, eat some chicken with Dee and then as well have another dinner with anothergreat family here in the Searcy Ward. It was a great day to top off our successful week that we had. </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> The week stared off by seeing Auburn y Joey who are a family that was found on the blitz the previous week. We showed up Monday night, and he was waiting for us at the door. He let us right in and we were able to share the restoration with him. He agreed with some parts, and then had a lot of questions. He is super knowledgeable in the bible, and even knew some </span>BOM<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> scriptures. We had a lot of discussion but he is super sincere and wants to learn more. They even offered us dinner in our first visit with them. So tonight we have a dinner appointment with them, and we are excited about that. We know that they would just soak up the gospel, as long as we can get over a few small doctrinal concerns. I'm just grateful that we have the promise of the Book of Mormon, and know that it work if we are sincerely searching for truth. </span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> As well this week we were able to finally meet Cori and her family who was another family found on the blitz. She was a lost member and has 4 kids living with her, and her husband is not a member. She really knows and wants to get back into the church, and she stays in contact with her best friend almost every day who is an active member in Utah. We were able to teach the family a couple lessons this week, and we set 3 baptismal dates with her kids (Hayden, </span>Brayden<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">, and Payton)! They are excited about their baptism and we already have plans to see them several times this week. The miracles just keep on coming here in the </span>Searcy<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> area. </span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> On Easter we were able to visit with Dee and share her a short Easter spiritual thought with her. It went really well, and after she said she wanted to give us a note. She had written her testimony down and it was awesome! She is doing super well and just loving the gospel. We taught her son Joseph more this week, but unfortunately he read a lot of anti a few days before his baptism. That was kind of sad, but we know that we will eventually come around. It always amazes me all the time and effort people will put into going against the true church of Jesus Christ, it's the exact same situation when he was on the earth. We have knowledge of eternal happiness, and people have such a hard time accepting that. </span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> Everything is going great here in the Searcy Zone and this week I was able to return to Jonesboro and go on exchanges up there with Elder Johnson! It was a great exchange and I was able to see Claudio y la familia. I had a great discussion with his wife and made some commitments with her on working towards her baptism. Claudio say as that his daughter is getting closer y closer and asking a lot of questions. That was awesome to hear about that, they are such a great family! I thank you so much for the Easter package, it was great! And I survived the Easter weekend without eating any candy! Love you lots have a great week!</span></div>

<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
Solid week here in Searcy!! <span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> This week we had Specialized training for the zone, so at the beginning of the week we were doing a lot of preparing for that. We had that on Friday, and it was a really good meeting! During the meeting we had a blitz where 20 companionship's that went out into the area to find people. There were a lot of miracles, one companionship's found a less active, and she has a bunch of kids and knows she needs to come back to church. We have been in contact with her y we are seeing her this week. There were also some other really cool people found, and we are going to the see a family tonight that sounds way cool! </span></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We have been working with Joseph, and saw him several times this last week. He is still exited for his baptism, but one day we went over and he had some concerns about Joseph Smith and what he really did as a prophet. We decided to read the intro to the Book of Mormon, and it was all cleared up to him! He was excited and said thank you for clearing some stuff up that I have read. On Sunday we were expecting a ton of investigators to come to church, but at the end of everything only 1 came. But it was Joseph, so he is still looking good for this Saturday! </div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
We are still working with Jeremy and we pushed his baptism back for a couple of weeks, because he couldn't get work off. But he told us that he wants to go teaching with us on his days off this week, so that would be pretty sweet! As well we have been seeing Paige y Milan, and they both have strong desires to change! We were able to set Baptismal dates with them after an awesome lesson, and they are really excited about everything. </div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<br /></div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
I was on exchanges this week with Elder Ludrick who is from Micronesia, and Elder Pearson went with Elder Geddes up in Paragould. Me and Elder Ludrick were able to teach the his sweet guy who has a sister y friends that are LDS, and he really wants to learn more about the church. After that there wasn't much luck the rest of the night. But as we pulled into our apartment our neighbor was standing outside, and he asked us if we were Jehovah's. I explained who we were and a little bit about our message. I asked if we could come share more and then he asked if he could come to church with us. That was a great way to end the night, and we are hoping to talk with him a few times this week and get him to church this next Sunday! </div>
<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">

<div id="AppleMailSignature" style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
All is going great here in Searcy and I'm really loving it here. Elder Pearson is a great companion and there are a lot of good things about to happen in this area! Hope y'all have a wonderful week! Love you!</div>

This week was a great week here in the Little City of Searcy Arkansas! A lot happened here this week and it was raining all week long. Last night we were under a Tornado watch, and we got some hail and rain but nothing really happened.</div>

Towards the beginning of the week we went to see Denise "Dee" who had a baptismal date for this last Saturday. She is a mom of a member that I knew in Jonesboro who recently moved back here. Her son was sitting in on the lesson and we taught him the restoration, and he really like it so we were able to set a baptismal date with him for the end of March. Dee was looking forward for her baptism, but we weren't sure if she was going to be ready by the end of the week. We ended up seeing Dee a few times after that and she was super excited about her baptism, and was determined to do it on Saturday! She was able to overcome all the problems, and we were able to have her baptismal service on Saturday! It went really well and there was a lot of support from the ward. Every time I see a baptism, it's so great to see how happy it makes that person. As well her son Joseph came to the baptism, and he said he felt really good when she was getting baptized and that he was excited for his baptism. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
Our other top investigator Jeremy is progressing super well. We were able to see him a bunch this week. He is a cousin of a member and is really excited for his baptism coming up in a couple week. He has expressed to us his desires to serve a mission, and to help us as much as possible after he is baptized. We are looking forward to that, and to keep helping him prepare. We are also visiting a lady named Johnny, and she is a less active. This week we showed up, and she said God had helped heal her feet with new medication and that she was able to go to church now. She went to BOM class, the baptism, and as well as church on Sunday! That was great to see her turn around. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
I was able to teach a couple lessons in Spanish which was pretty sweet, and there are actually two members in the ward that are Hispanics and don't really speak English. So I was able to meet them this week. On Sunday Dee was confirmed, and as well I gave a talk in sacrament! It actually went super well, it was the first talk I have given in English on my mission. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It's been pretty great serving here in Searcy, I'm learning the true southern ways. My favorite quote of the week came from one of the less actives we are teaching she said: "did you know there were 14 presidents before George Washington? The first was named George Washington Bush and he was black". Sometimes you just never know what people are going to tell you! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">

Towards the beginning of the week we had our staff meeting with President Wakolo, it was my last one as office Elder. That was great, and after that Elder Lundell y Phillips dropped me off with the Spanish Zone Leaders for exchanges. I was able to go with them for an entire day! It was an awesome exchange, and we were able to see their sweet recent convert and a lot of other cool people. It was nice being able to speak in Spanish all day was well. That night we set up a special dinner with the Foster's and that was awesome! It was great being with them, and I was glad to be able to see them again. We also got to stop by Ana's and see her. The next day we had a zone meeting. Later on that night we were able to have dinner with Yader and Joanne before I headed out! That was awesome, and I'll definitely miss living so close to them. Yader is excited about being called as the 2nd councilor of the Spanish branch, and has already been doing a great job! </div>

<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">That next morning I finished packing the rest of my stuff, and then we headed to the mission office. Then Elder Cade Pearson came to pick me up. He is from Pocatello Idaho, and we have been serving for thee same amount of time. It has been going great so far, we got along really well. I'm looking forward to this new transfer! </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
The first couple days were pretty crazy, we had to do a baptismal interview in Jacksonville which was moved so we had to drive down there twice. And as well we went and did a blitz in Batesville which was sweet! I got to talk a lot of Spanish over there, so that was great as always! We have been super busy and that's been really nice. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px; text-align: start;">
The Searcy area seems pretty great, and church went really well. We have some cool investigators that we are working with, and we taught a pretty cool Hispanic guy there yesterday. It's been quite the change going from Office Elder to Zone Leader, but I've been loving getting back into teaching every day! Other than that, all is going well here in Searcy Arkansas!</div>

This last week has been an awesome one, as being my last full week in the office! I have been on the road almost every day this week, but it has been great. On Monday I got a text from President Wakolo if I could drive him around for the next two days, because he isn't feeling well but he needed to press on with his interview. I was super excited for that, but that night my throat started to hurt super bad and I had like a fever. I really didn't want to pass up this opportunity, so I prayed really hard that night that my pain would go away in my throat, and sure enough when I woke up in the morning I felt way better! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
That morning my companions dropped me off at the mission home, and then me and President headed up to Jonesboro. I attended two district meetings that day, and I was able to read a lot while he was doing interviews. The next day me and President went to Searcy y then Batesville. So in total I went to three district meetings this week. It was an awesome experience to be with President and being able to talk with him, and get to know him even better. I never thought that I would be "companions" with my mission President! President Wakolo is such an amazing man, and no doubt called of God. He is such a loving guy, and always brings an amazing spirit with him. In mission leadership council this week he bore his testimony, and referring to the Fiji cyclone he said "whether my family is alive or dead, my faith is unshaken. My eternal father lives". It was really powerful, especially because he still hasn't heard from a few members from his family.<br />
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> That was great way to start the week! After MLC on Thursday we drove the Spanish Zone Leaders (Elders Heaton y Doty) up to Russellville for their exchanges there. As well the following day we picked them up as well as doing some other furniture needs. </span><br />

On Sunday church went well and one of our investigators Nicole randomly showed up to church! We weren't expecting that at all, but she really seemed to enjoy it, and we have an appointment set up with her this week. As well on Sunday night we were able to see Steven again. We had talked to him earlier on in the week and he said that he had read. But I called him out because he kept dodging all of the questions we were asking about the reading. So he asked if we would leave him with something to read and he would read it. On Sunday when we saw him he opened the door and the first thing he said is that he actually read, and you could tell his countenance had changed! He had read all of Moroni, as well as parts in Ether y Alma. He said he enjoyed it and he had some good questions. He still has a long way to come, but we know that if he keeps reading the BOM we know what will happen! Yader also called me yesterday and he is now the second counselor of the Spanish Branch, so that's awesome! </div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> This week I also finished the Book of Mormon in Spanish for the first time! I was really excited about that, and I really learned a lot! The </span>spirit<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> is always there when reading the </span>BOM<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">, no matter what language it's in! </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> The news for the week is that I will be transferred to </span>Searcy<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> this Thursday or Friday, and I will be serving as an English Zone Leader with Elder Pearson! I'm really excited for this new opportunity that I will have, and all the things that I will be able to learn. I've heard a lot of great things about my new area and my companion, it should be awesome!! </span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;">

This week was an awesome and adventurous week! Earlier on in the week we were busy in the office, and we had a really good office staff meeting with President Wakolo. On Wednesday we had Zone Conference with all the missionaries on this side of the mission.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgguGJ__rXKdb36w0oIaT2nNbF4rza6Lz3Y_lMlBYh3viNW2skDezqx3uYc4Q9pLdwJx3XRj1dx1AdJfGgerARLqebo1JWJJxQ4G8icuKAiXGTchyphenhyphenvN1HLfyHb-TZtkMyak3dTL65Lelxx_/s1600/image2+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgguGJ__rXKdb36w0oIaT2nNbF4rza6Lz3Y_lMlBYh3viNW2skDezqx3uYc4Q9pLdwJx3XRj1dx1AdJfGgerARLqebo1JWJJxQ4G8icuKAiXGTchyphenhyphenvN1HLfyHb-TZtkMyak3dTL65Lelxx_/s200/image2+%25283%2529.JPG" width="142" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuftoM2KLVDjEXeEtQAZPDorJ6hxKgX6elJs6zhCa05CoqTIXwrRzmpg7I0UDqyhCJZqoLml19JyCAzQI5lG0XwBxxb1W6urTvmNtl6pbKglhi9ZGHe_ypR4m-cPLcHD4spjsaG49ZeQon/s1600/image3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="142" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuftoM2KLVDjEXeEtQAZPDorJ6hxKgX6elJs6zhCa05CoqTIXwrRzmpg7I0UDqyhCJZqoLml19JyCAzQI5lG0XwBxxb1W6urTvmNtl6pbKglhi9ZGHe_ypR4m-cPLcHD4spjsaG49ZeQon/s200/image3.JPG" width="200" /></a> That is always a great meeting,, and I learned a lot of great things for myself. We focused a lot on helping our investigators realize the functions of the spirit, and why it's so important. That is always keys, as the spirit is truly what is going to change someones life. After that I drove back with all the Jonesboro Elders to go on exchanges up there again. It was great to be with my Son y Grandson again. We were able to see the Lopez family several times, and teach them some good lessons. As well it happened to be Claudio's birthday so we got to celebrate it with him. It's pretty crazy Claudio, Monica, y Elder Heaton all share the same birthday. While there we were able to see Tina y Takiya y they are doing well. We found a lot of cool people, and it was nice to have a couple full days of teaching. On Friday Elder Lundell y Phillips came and picked me up, and we did some furniture deliveries on our way back to NLR. </div>

The best part of the week was of course on Saturday going to the Memphis temple for the sealing of Yader y Joanne. On Saturday morning my companions dropped me off at Yader' house, and (Elder) Justin Meyers was <br />
there as well! So I rode down with him on the way to Memphis, and that was pretty sweet catching up with him. At the temple there were a lot of people, and a bunch of members from the Spanish branch came that I hadn't seen in a year! Yader had made some sweet temple shirts for his family that said families are forever! This was my first sealing that I had ever been to, and it was an amazing experience. Seeing Joanne and Yader being sealed was so cool, and it was amazing when their two beautiful little girls came in and were sealed to them as well. The Spirit was very strong in the sealing room, and the happiness was beaming off of them after they had been sealed. It has been great seeing them progress towards becoming an eternal family. I was talking with Meyers how about a year ago on my final day with them I shared a spiritual thought and told them how I wanted to see them in the temple! </div>

<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> After the sealing they took a bunch of sweet pictures and then I went with Yader's family and the Fosters lunch. It was great being with all them again, it was nice to be with some members of the Spanish branch again. I drove home with Yader and his family, and the whole trip was basically a whole day excursion. It was an awesome day,, and I was also able to see see several members from other areas at the temple as well. That trip definitely made my whole week! </span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13.3333px;"> Another great and busy week here as an office Elder. Earlier on in the week we went on a trip to take some furniture to a few missionaries. The next morning we got ready for our big trip to Trenton Tennessee which is about 3 hours y 45 minutes away from the mission office. Luckily the morning before we left, the new transfer van came in!! It is way nice, and a lot roomier. So that was pretty sweet, and I got to put the first 500 miles on it. Our trip entailed closing an apartment in Trenton (which was absolutely filthy,) and as well doing other deliveries around Memphis. That was an awesome trip especially because Elders Heaton y Doty were able to come with the three of us, because they needed a ride to Jackson to do exchanges with the Spanish Elders.</span></div>

One of our Senior missionaries Sister Nicosia was having some really big medical problems this week, so they had to unexpectedly end their mission this week. They were so awesome and a huge help to the office, it was sad to see them go. So we might be a lot busier here in the next couple of weeks. </div>

Even amongst the really long trip to Memphis for a couple days, and all the other stuff we had going on we were able to see Hunter this week. We had an awesome lesson with them about the commandments y a member was able to come with us. He said he was for sure coming on Sunday, but then Sunday morning we texted him y he was sick. He told us that he "popped the question, and she said yes", so now him and his girlfriend are engaged! That was a huge tender mercy, and that will help him to be able to progress a lot quicker towards baptism and receiving those blessings. </div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> The rest of Sunday was an awesome day as well! We had Ward conference which went super well, and one of the members Bro </span>Toeppe<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> who just moved in told a sweet story. He had never been to conference so one year him y his recently converted wife went y were outside the conference center asking for tickets. There was a guy who was making fun of them, and yelling all sorts of things at them. He said he felt really annoyed at this guy, and wanted to say some stuff back. He then felt that he needed to pray that the man yelling would some day be able to hear the gospel ,and his heart would be softened. Long story short, while Bro </span>Toeppe<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> was Bshop in Ohio a guy walks into the church after his child had just died, y they wanted him to direct the funeral. Bro </span>Toeppe<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> said he would, but asked him if he was the guy that was yelling at him years ago in </span>SLC<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">. The guy said yes, and Bro </span>Toeppe<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> told him what he had done that day. He said he never thought the Lord would send him to his own Ward to be taught. He was part of the teaching process, and soon after the man was baptized! Pretty amazing story, Truly shows that the spirit can work miracles in anyone. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> Later on Sunday afternoon we had several teaching appointments, and we taught this lady named Latoya. She had read all the way to Chapter 7 after we had given her a </span>BOM<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> the last time we met here. We had a great lesson, and during the middle of it she had a seizure which was pretty crazy! She has </span>epilepsy<span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"> or something, b Right after she got back up, and read the verse that we had asked her to read! So great week overall, and the work is going well! </span></div>

Hope y'all had a great week, thank you for all the love y prayers! </div>

Earlier on in the week we had our normal office duties, and we had a great staff meeting with President Wakolo. We did get news that one of the senior couples will have to return early in a couple weeks, so we could get even busier. We were also able to finally open an apartment after a several week process, so that was nice! </div>

On Thursday I drove back with the District Leader y a few other elders to Jonesboro, because there was a leadership training here in NLR. It was great returning there again, and I was able to haves some great experiences with Elder Ceron y Santiago. We were able to surprise Claudio y his family with me coming, and they were so excited to see me. One of the nights we had an awesome lesson with them. Basically all of the family was listening. Dulce had some great questions during the whole lesson., All that were present were definitely uplifted and excited to progress forward. Gaby expressed her desires to be baptized as well. We were able to set goals with them to read, and they talked about how changes are actually a good thing in our lives and we shouldn't be afraid of them. We were able to teach them each day that I was there. It was great to be with them again, and it felt as if I was with my family again! </div>

On Saturday night Elder Lundell y Phillips came and picked me up y we drove back to NLR. On Sunday Elder Ceron called my and told me that all of Claudios family had gone to church The kids even went to Primary for the first time which was awesome! Claudio as well received the Melquisdec priesthood. His progression has been amazing!, There was a significant difference in their house and how much more united their family has become as they have all listened. The work is going great, and I'm sure this week will bring more miracles. Have a great week, love y'all!</div>
